Brand Feature – Aimé Leon Dore

Since their launch in 2014, Aimé Leon Dore continues to see success in what they do best – delivering fresh takes on timeless designs with high quality materials. The New York-based fashion and lifestyle brand is spearheaded by Teddy Santis, a native New Yorker. By drawing inspiration from his experiences living and growing up in the city, Santis manages to capture and distill the essence of the New York City vibe into his brand. Influences from hip hop music and basketball can be seen throughout the apparel and footwear collection in pieces like the G14 low top sneaker and their Nylon Windbreaker.

Keeping true to their New York roots, Aimé Leon Dore designs and manufactures their garments in New York since the very start of the brand. Although ALD started as a direct-to-consumer brand, they now work with select chosen retailers in the same manner as to not stray away from their vision.

As the brand continues to design  Aimé Leon Dore humbly instills its New York authenticity in its brand and products. Santis explains in an Esquire interview that "it's very important to continue delivering a definitive message that people want to genuinely be a part of and represent – we aren't trying to force what we do".
