4 Horsemen Custom Hand-Knit Sweater 2010

Tomorrow we will be putting the fourth installment of our annual Custom Hand-Knit Sweater up for sale on the web shop.  For those of you who saw last year's version, you will notice some strong similarities.  There were a lot of people who missed out last year, and we were really happy with how the sweaters turned out, so we wanted to run something comparable this time around.  The main differences are a raglan shoulder, a plain sleeve, a different cable pattern, and different hardware.  As always, these sweaters are hand-knit in Vancouver exclusively for Four Horsemen Shop.

This year 24 sweaters were produced, split across two colours.  The first is a Denim Blue Shetland Wool with woven leather buttons.  The Denim Blue colour has a lot of white in it and takes on a sort of washed out colour in person.  Despite the name the colour actually matches up with denim quite well.  The Shetland wool is heavy and coarse and is what most people associate with these types of sweaters.  The larger sizes approach 1.5 Kg.
The second sweater is done in a Charcoal Merino Wool with elk antler buttons.  The sweater appears solid grey from a distance, but up close has a subtle red fleck throughout.  The Merino is softer and finer than the Shetland, making it more of a multi-season piece.  These sweaters weigh about 0.8 Kg.
We have sizes 36-42.  Please keep in mind these measurements are approximate due to the nature of hand-knit goods.  Also, these sweater will stretch significantly with wear and can be lengthened in the body or sleeves if desired.
